Great Love

1 min read

I've been thinking about Great Love for the past while.

Romantic love was right there at the top.

It has all the things: excitement, passion, physical intimacy, vulnerability, the unknown and the unexpected, emotional and physical attraction and a smidge of anxiety and fear.

I mean...who doesn't want it?

And who doesn't want it to last forever or at least 10-20yrs, lol.

I certainly do.

But it hasn't happened that way or so it seemed.

I started to ask myself, "what is Great Love?"

A love that changes me.

A love that grows me.

A love that confounds me.

A love that challenges me.

A love that reflects me back to me, even when I don't like what I see.

A love that I can grow with as it evolves and transforms.

The more I thought about what Great Love is, at least to me, I realized that maybe I had experienced Great Love. Maybe I had even experienced it more than once! And to think, I was on the verge of feeling sorry for myself, ha.

I feel I want to spend a little time here, with Great Love, I mean.

I will end here.

Next time, a Great Love story.

(at least that is my intention)

Apologies if something else altogether happens.

a little musical fodder
